Kia ora, my name is Hannah White and I am honoured to facilitate your Kombucha workshop!
Here’s a little bit about me… I grew up in Whangarei and now work as the Events & Accounts Manager at The Butter Factory. I enjoy working with kombucha in my spare time! I began experimenting with kombucha fermentation and flavouring in 2018, quickly discovering that working with kawakawa is my favourite way of creating kombucha.
Tuatahi (first day) - collecting kawakawa & making tea for kombucha
Tuarua (second day) - bottle kombucha & set kombucha to brew
Both workshops will include protocol about working with kawakawa and a scoby of your own plus bottles of kombucha to take home - bring glass bottles to upcycle if you have them!
