At Sew Good we connect, share, support and enable people to use our sewing machines and supplies to repair, re-purpose, up-cycle or make things they need.
Everyone is welcome, just drop in. SewGood sessions are free (Koha is appreciated).
Sewing machines, an overlocker and supplies are available, or you are welcome to bring your own. We try to have someone with good sewing skills at the sessions to assist people with their projects - or if you can sew come along so you can spend some time sewing and help others out.
For those wanting to access a sewing machine or overlocker Mid-Week - we have a SewGood Station set up upstairs at The ReMakery- with a sewing machine, overlocker, thread, supplies and materials.
Boomerang Bags is about making bags, diverting waste, starting conversations, connecting with each other, fostering sustainable behaviour, and having fun! You and your local community can be involved in any or all of this process.
Come along, sew, and chat. Any questions call Ann 021 257 7076.
