Kombucha is a fermented tea known for its health benefits. It is produced by fermenting tea using a SCOBY (yeast) commonly called a mother or mushroom

Kombuchur is run by Hannah White. Hannah grew up in Whangarei and now works as the Events & Accounts Manager at The Butter Factory. In 2018, Hannah started to enjoy working with kombucha in her spare time and began experimenting with kombucha fermentation and flavouring, quickly discovering that working with kawakawa is her favourite way of creating kombucha. Hannah is keen to reduce waste so packages her Kombucha in old wine bottles.

Hannah’s Kombuchur is a favourite amongst locals and so Hannah now wants to pass on her knowledge by offering workshops at The ReMakery.
